7 foods that should not be eaten by diabetes patient



Below are listed 7 fruits which are considered to be very healthy but should never be consumed by patient of diabetes.

1. Mango: Mango is said to be the king of fruits. Mango has a lot of sugar so it should not be consumed by diabetes patients.

2. Grapes: Diabetes patients should not consume grapes because it has high amount of fiber, vitamins and high sugar content. According to reports 3 part grapes has nearly 15 gram carbohydrate.3. Pine apple: It has GI value between 46 to 70. A small piece of it also has 20 gm carbohydrate, so eating it for diabetes patients is very dangerous. 4. Banana: It has GI value between 46 to 70 and a half cup banana has 15 gm carbohydrate. So it is appropriate for diabetics to consume banana. 5. Watermelon: Even though water melon has low fiber and calorie it has GI value near to 72 similarly it has high content of vitamin A and C. So water melon is not good for diabetes patients. 6. Papaya: The GI value of papaya is 59. It has high content of calorie and carbohydrate. So, people with diabetes should not eat papaya. 7. Dates: Dates is also among the foods that should not be consumed by people with diabetes. The GI value of the fruit is 103. Quarter cup of dates has 24 gram of carbohydrate.
