Posted by Anup Baral September 3rd, 2016 :Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his second interview to an Indian television news channel after assuming office in 2014 on Friday. In a free-wheeling chat, Modi spoke to Network 18’s Group Editor Rahul Joshi on a wide range of issues, including the the recent unrest in Kashmir, the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections and Dalit vote bank politics. On Dalits, Modi said, “All those self-appointed guardians who were trying to create tension in the country did not like that Modi is with the Dalits… That Modi devotes himself to tribals. I am devoted to the welfare of all Dalits, oppressed, underprivileged and deprived.”
