A pedestrian died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Koshi highway at Biratnagar-5 on Wednesday night.Jit Bahadur Bhujel,45, of Khotang and living currently in Biratnagar-4 was severely injured after being hit by the vehicle at around 10:00 pm last night. He died on the way to the hospital.A search has been initiated to find the vehicle and its driver who fled following the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Morang Yogendra Singh Thapa said.
